The Jade Vine is Hannah Esparza's floral design studio and women-operated small business based in Chicago, that values sustainability and cultivating a unique floral experience. Our mission is to innovate and prioritize eco-friendly solutions within the floral industry. We specialize in wedding services for all sizes and locations, sourcing most of our floral from local growers. Our experienced, dedicated team of designers provides essential kindness and care to every couple, order, and event.
We understand the role flowers can play in fostering a connection between people and nature, and we invite you to visit our inclusive, community-focused shop in Albany Park.

Our flowers
We partner with several local Illinois growers, as well as an Ecuador-based, family owned and operated company here in Chicago. We strategically order precise stem lengths to create less waste while designing, and all organic matter is composted with local company, Urban Canopy. We always display expired blooms to dry and reuse them in arrangements and wreaths which increases the lifespan for certain flower varieties.
About the shop
We offer in-store workshops where you and your guests will find yourselves surrounded by enthralling colors, displays, and scents. Walk-ins can browse an array of fresh floral options, or work with an on-site florist to create a custom arrangement. All packaging is reused as much as possible, then recycled or composted if eligible. While you’re with us, don’t forget to grab a locally sourced gift to accompany your flowers; including earrings, chocolates, candles, soap, art, greeting cards, tote bags, children’s books, and more.
Outside the shop, you can find us bustling around the Chicagoland wedding scene. Our background in professional design means we offer a special touch when bringing each couple’s vision to life. We are committed to using an eco-friendly approach to everything we do. We’ll see you soon!
